The badge sits on our homepage. This post explains what sits behind it, because a partner logo on a consultancy website is worth exactly as much as the work it lets that consultancy do.
What the status actually is
Select Partner is a designation inside OpenAI's partner ecosystem for firms that build and deliver production systems on their models. It is granted on delivery evidence, not on a subscription. It says we have put OpenAI models into real business systems, and that those systems are running.
It does not mean we are an OpenAI reseller, that we only build on OpenAI, or that we get your data treated differently. Nobody should choose an AI partner on the strength of a badge, so here is the part that matters.
What changes for the businesses we work with
Closer access to what is coming. Model behaviour changes quickly, and the gap between a capability shipping and it being safe to build on is where most AI budgets get burned. Being inside the partner ecosystem shortens the distance between us and that information. You get advice based on where the platform is going, not on a blog post from two model generations ago.
Faster escalation when something breaks in production. A pilot that misbehaves is an inconvenience. A production system that misbehaves is a business problem with a clock on it. Partner status gives us a shorter route to answers when the fault is on the platform side rather than in our code.
Fewer detours in architecture. A large share of AI project cost goes to building the thing that turns out to be unnecessary. Knowing which capabilities are native, which are about to be, and which will always be your own problem to solve removes whole workstreams from a plan before anyone writes code.
What does not change
We are not becoming a single-vendor shop. Our position has always been that the model is the smallest decision in an AI project, and it stays that way. The order of work is unchanged: process foundations first, then data you can trust, then AI applied where it pays off. A frontier model on top of broken process automates the broken process faster.
We still refuse to ask a client to invest ahead of the evidence. If the honest answer is that your data is not ready, that is the answer you get, partner badge or not.
Why we went for it
We work across MENA, Africa and Europe, with businesses that are frequently told AI adoption is something that happens to them later, after someone else has proved it. We disagree, and the fastest way to argue against that is to be demonstrably close to the people building the underlying technology while doing the unglamorous work of getting processes and data into shape.
That is what this is. Recognition of delivery, and a shorter path to the next piece of it.
